The Base Cutter Gearbox is centrally mounted on the harvester’s front chassis, directly below the operator cabin area, flanked by the crop dividers. It is the “Spearhead” of the machine. In a typical dual-disc setup, two gearboxes are synchronized to rotate the cutting discs inward.<\/p>\n
